Hundreds of women in Kakamega joined the rest of Kenya on 21 May by holding a peace walk to promote and advocate for peaceful elections. The walk, dubbed the “National Women’s Peace Walk,” was flagged off at the Kakamega County Commissioner’s Office.

Friends United Meeting is pleased to announce that we will be organizing our first Living Letters group trip to Cuba since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, in 2020. Friends Lugulu Mission Hospital's Adopt-a-Bed program saves an evangelist's life on Mt. Elgon. Missionary Jeremiah Akoto writes: "On Friday the 7th of August, in the morning, the first thing I did was to call FUM Africa Ministries Director John Muhanji. I explained to him the situation on the ground and requested for his advice as well as his assistance. I thank God that Brother John asked me to take Stanley to Friends Lugulu Mission Hospital (FLMH) as fast as I could, and he directed me to see the hospital administrator when I arrived."
