The Solidarity Fund was established by Friends at the outbreak of Covid-19 as a way to respond to emergency needs impacting the most vulnerable people in our communities. This fund has been used to provide emergency response funds during natural disasters, fund feeding programs in Belize, provide PPEs at Lugulu Hospital, assist Congolese Friends in Canada, help Turkana Friends respond to significant drought, and help resupply Lindi Friends School after a devastating fire. Donations to this fund will enable FUM to respond in solidarity and love to communities in crisis.U.S. government regulations about support for Cuba change rapidly.
