Samburu Friends Mission

Visit the churches, schools, and ministry projects of Samburu Friends Mission, one of the fastest growing Friends communities in Africa. Learn how Friends are ministering in this remote location among a pastoralist (semi-nomadic, animal-herding) people group who have had very little access to education until quite recently. Experience the vibrant worship music and traditional worshipful dance of Samburu Christian culture. See the health center, primary school, nursery schools, and income-generating projects of the mission. Meet some of the girls who have been sponsored through FUM’s Girl Child Education program. You will also have an opportunity for volunteer service in Samburu.
