Kathleen Wooten

Web and Media Specialist

Kathleen Wooten is the Web and Media Specialist for Friends United Meeting. She oversees the FUM social media accounts, fostering digital connections among Friends. Kathleen carries a passion for digital media and opening new ways of being faithful in the Quaker tradition.  

Kathleen holds a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a master's degree in Critical and Creative Thinking from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.  She had a first career in instrumental music education in New England and has now embarked on a journey of communication among Quakers.  Kathleen often leads various workshops around the church concerns of faithful digital outreach and engagement.

Kathleen lives in Methuen, Massachusetts with her husband David and daughter Maille.  She is a member of the Lawrence Monthly Meeting, New England Yearly Meeting, and travels in Gospel Ministry under their care. Kathleen enjoys spending time at the ocean, caring for her foster guinea pigs, and playing clarinet in local community bands.
